The 2025 Queen’s Club Championships (also known as the HSBC Championships for sponsorship reasons) is a professional tennis tournament on outdoor grass courts at the Queen’s Club in London, United Kingdom. It was the 82nd edition for the women, the latter returning after a 52-year absence. The women’s event was classified as a WTA 500 tournament on the 2025 WTA Tour and took place from 9 to 15 June.

Tatjana Maria becomes first WTA champion at The Queen’s Club in 52 years. From qualifier to champion, Tatjana (GER), at age 37 – a remarkable run from qualifier to champion, defeating Amanda Anisimova 6–3, 6–4 in the final, has etched her name into the history books after becoming the first woman to be crowned champion at The Queen’s Club since 1973. Tatjana (was born 8 August 1987) is a German professional tennis player. In January 2024 she reached her career-best singles ranking of world No. 42, and in June 2016, she peaked at No. 54 in the doubles rankings.
She has won four singles titles and four doubles titles on the WTA Tour, as well as one singles title on the WTA Challenger Tour. She has also won 16 singles and 15 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. She has played 1243 matches, the third highest number of tennis matches in the Open Era, after just Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert.
She has made 16 appearances (23 matches) for Germany in the Billie Jean King Cup competition between 2006 and 2011 and between 2018 and 2025.

Becomes the oldest player to win a WTA 500 title—at 37, and the oldest WTA singles finalist since Serena Williams won the 2020 title in Auckland at age 38, following a streak of nine straight defeats entering the tournament.

Earned approximately £161,000 and jumped into the WTA Top 50 as Germany’s No. 1.
Final match stats: Maria earned the win in 1 hr 23 min with 7 aces and a 66.7% break-point conversion.
